I don't really know what to put here really. Just updating for the sake of updating. You know how it is.
Yup.
*Ahem*

One month on, so I might as well make a post I guess!
Uni's going great. My FYP's really taking shape, I love my modules and life's pretty much awesome actually.
I was ill all week a couple of weeks back though. It was awful. In the three years I've been at Winchester, I've missed exactly 0 days due to illness. Admittedly I have skived off one before because the lesson was to be held in a pub, and I really couldn't be arsed to sit on a train for 45 minutes just to go to a pub and have a tutor I hated explain 17th Century Romantic poetry or something. Nthx.
Anyway, so yeah, I ended up having the whole week off. I felt strange over the weekend, then on Monday I was just a walking zombie, sneezing, knackered out of my mind, boiling up etc. Not nice. Then I got a chest infection to cap it all off; lovely. I'm pretty much over it now though, but walking up the gazillions of hills in Winch has been a bit of a nightmare this past week. I'm sure I'll be OK.
Um...
I think that's it. Literally nothing else of major interest has happened in recent weeks, alas. So I'll leave it there eh? Take care!

Update, eh? Why not.
Back to Uni tomorrow. Scary. I'm looking forward to my modules though. Only thing I'm not really looking forward to is having to walk up a massive fucking hill every week after, I think, week 4. But hey, that's 4 weeks away, right?!
Other than that, not a lot to report. Been to see a lot of films. Played a lot of games. Listened to a lot of music (Beatles mostly, actually, since me and my mum are collecting all of their newly remastered albums).
Oh, and I have a random cut on my face. I seriously don't know how I got it. It's kinda like my cat's scratched me, but I'm pretty sure I'd remember something like that, right?
I think that's about it to be honest, I don't want to be boring :) Hope all is well with everyone, back sooooon!

Evening! Good one isn't it! Except for the fireworks which, as I gather, were shit. Ordinarily I can hear beach-based 'works from my house, but I couldn't tonight which made me a tad suspicious. Given that, y'know, they were aiming for a record. I still don't really know the full story, but no-doubt I'll be filled in eventually.
But anyway.
I've still got another 5 weeks off, which is crazy-ridiculous. I've given up looking for a job now though, and going to use these last few weeks as preparation for my third and final year on my Bachelor's. Which involves reading, lots and lots of reading.
I've got about 6 books on the go right now, which is ridiculous for me. I hate multitasking with things like books, I'm usually no good at it. But surprisingly, I'm keeping up!
The books, should you be curious enough to want to know, are:
* V For Vendetta by Alan Moore
* Batman: The Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller
* The Groovy Greeks by Terry Deary
* John Lennon: The Beatle With The Big Mouth by some woman who's name I can't recall
* Boy by Roald Dahl
* The Road by Cormac McCarthy
Now, admittedly, the first two are graphic novels but they're, like, really *heavy* ones, if you know what I mean. And they're awesome. The next three are kid's books, as I'm doing a module on non-fiction for children next year. The last is just something I'm reading for myself, and partially as background reading for my final year project.
Speaking of my FYP, I made a start on it today! I wrote a whole 200 words. Yeah, I'm hardcore, me ;) Although, to be fair, my supervisor told me to not write anything over the summer, so I've already gone above and beyond! Seriously though, I'm not just going to sit around and force myself to be stressed with it when I've got millions of other assignments due. Obviously the FYP's not due until next May, but that'll come up far too quickly.
Other than that, not a lot's been happening! Huh. Well, there we go then. Until next time!

It has been 25 days since I last posted. Possibly 26 by the time you read this. That can mean only one thing.
HAMMER TIME!
No, wait, I mean UPDATE TIME!
So yeah, some stuff's been happening. Not a lot of it, mind, but stuff nonetheless. I've managed to keep myself relatively busy and may have even found a job. More on that in a tick.
A lot of my time, actually, has been spent in one of the two Bournemouth cinemas. I've been every Wednesday for the last four weeks now. Transformers 2 (which I enjoyed, somehow, despite the fact that it's probably the biggest pile of shit you're likely to see) was first, followed by Public Enemies (which I only really half watched - not because it was bad, it was great actually, but because my friends kept annoying me), then the opening night of Harry Potter (notable for being the busiest I've ever seen the Odeon and also for Screen 1 being the hottest room I've ever been in *in my life*), and finally I saw Bruno (which was incredibly juvenile, but incredibly funny in places, and also incredibly sold out for the showing we wanted to see so had to wait around for over an hour) Thank God for Orange! I've seen more films at the cinema this year than I think I ever have before, which is quite something.
(TI)So I might have found a job! Game, the game shop (obviously) had a poster up in their window the other day advertising for jobs. So I asked, and it turns out their opening a new shop down Castlepoint at the end of August, and all I had to do was hand in a CV and they'd get back to me. It's not a guarantee of success, of course, but a friend of mine knows the manager so he said he'd have a word. I could be in there! (Nudge nudge, wink wink Say No Mooar!)(CK)
(In a tick. Geddit?)
Been doing a bit of decorating around the house these past few days as well. I have discovered something of a talent for wallpapering, which also happens to make me lose my temper. Now, I'm not sure if you know this, but I *never* lose my temper. Ever. But wallpapering made me. Air bubbles on corners make me want to rip the entire house down. But it was fun, and I was actually not too bad at it. Maybe it's because I've grown into a 'proper' man now. I should probably get my own toolshed/garage.
Once more, we've come to the end of another exciting update. I trust you're all doing just fine :) Take care everybody!
