Not a lot's been going on. I'm done with Uni now until September, the job hunt has begun and faltered (although I'm looking more at doing some volunteer writing for Arts Council approved stuff, which might be cool, although there aren't many vacancies on the various projects and obviously they're kinda hard to get into. When they actually appear on the site at all.), but I'll get there. I've actually been doing quite a lot, like meeting up with friends and the like. O'course, it's not very productive, but it's keeping me occupied which to be honest is all I really want a job for. The money doesn't really matter, having something to put on my CV would be nice (although volunteering tends to look better and some careers services advocate not even mentioning part time jobs anyway), but it's really just so I don't get bored. Which I'm not currently, so yeah.
Oh! Funny thing happened last night. Was up at about 2 for various reasons, when suddenly I hear from out the front 'GET DOWN ON THE GROUND!!!!!!!!' in the loudest voice EVER. I plucked up the courage look outside (with the lights off, natch) and saw two police cars, several officers, a couple of arrested people (my mind has suddenly lost the collective noun for a group of criminals that's not criminals. If such a word exists at all) and, later, a proper meat wagon. It was well exciting, and a little scary! Well, not *too* scary. I am a man after all.
Allegedly.
Other than that, things have been a tad dull, actually. I haven't done any writing yet, nor any reading (for shame!) The problem with reading is that since I've been commuting into Winchester every other day I've just read on the train. And now I can't get into the habit of reading at home. It's annoying.
What else is annoying is that I've had a stupid fucking twitch in my eye all fucking day. Hopefully it'll be gone by tomorrow, but it is the most irritating thing EVER.
Oh, and The Sims 3 is awesome. Just thought I'd get that in there.
