Days since I first posted on Xanga. 1000 fucking days.
1000 days ago, I was still at college, having just finished first year.
1000 days ago, MySpace was still the cool thing to do.
1000 days ago, I was determined to update at
least once a day.
1000 days ago, I was apparantly still playing Guitar Hero 1. (Some things never change, eh?)
All of this was new. And now, really, as much as I still post now and again, Xanga is old news. It's dead. Finished. An Ex-site. (Begin the Dead Parrot sketch, if you really want...)
Anyway, I'm content. I'm not sure if I'll ever post here again, genuinely. To be frank, I don't really need it anymore. I maintain two other blogs (
1 &
2), Facebook and, despite my second point above, MySpace (a little),
Twitter, and about a zillion other personal spaces. And, like, 4 people read this. If that.
But who knows? It's kinda like coming back to an old friend, this Xanga is. So we'll see. I tried leaving before, and that didn't last long. Like, a day. But if I don't, and this really is the last goodbye, then so long, farewell and auf weidersein. Thanks for reading.

and i'm sorry to inform you that you've yet to get to veteran status.. i've been posting since 15th march 2005 on my current site! been using xanga since i was 14 years old, woweeee.
